Well, I just got back from Washington DC today to find the Rubicon Express lift lit has finally arrived. I did an inventory to make sure all the parts were there and to give them a once over to see if RE has made any changes to their kit before I begin the installation. Everything looks great. They did powder coat their sway bar disconnects silver to match the rest of the parts, and all the critical fasteners are grade-8. They also shipped the new CV driveshaft to go with the transfer case rebuild kit that had arrived with the last shipment.
This saturday I will begin the tear down of the old components and start the installation of the new parts. At this point it is a necesstity to make room in the garage.
The only part that we are still waiting for is the new front bumper. I expected this delay since the bumper is a custom made unit, which normally takes 6-8 weeks after the holiday orders come in.
